How to select a right bucket size

Excavator bucket is a structural product, which is composed of tooth seat plate, bottom plate, side plate, wall plate, lug plate, back plate, bucket ear plate, bucket ear, bucket teeth and connector, tooth seat and other parts. Therefore, the welding process will determine the quality of the excavator bucket, and also directly affect the structural strength and service life of the bucket.

  • In our daily life, most of the construction works use the bucket of the excavator, which does not require too many tools and can increase the productivity.
  • Choosing the right excavator bucket can help with efficiency, remember if you are using a bucket on a 15 ton excavator it will be too big for an 8 ton.
  • If the bucket size is too large for the excavator, it will require the machine to do more work, reducing work efficiency, increasing costs, and more seriously, causing the excavator to overturn.Typically, a complete range of bucket sizes are available for excavators on the market, or a custom service is available. Mini excavators are popular and widely used in different working environments, with bucket sizes ranging from 6 inches to 36 inches.
  • The weight of the excavator can choose what size bucket, please refer to the table below:
